Living English

The Living English Classes (LEC) classes are free for anyone who would like to improve their English language skills, and meet others in a friendly and encouraging environment. 

If you are experiencing the marginalisation which comes from being cut off, through not understanding the English language, then this is for you.  During our time together we also learn much about other cultures.

The format for each session includes an introductory full group time plus small group classes catering for a range of proficiencies in English.  We always take a break for afternoon tea, and we have skilled volunteers, who provide teaching that covers speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.
